Investor in People
In 1996 The College was designed as an Investor in People. After three years institutions awarded IIP are reassessed to ensure that they still meet the criteria for being an Investor in People. We passed the reassessment in 1999 with flying colours and the assessor was very complimentary about what was happening at The College. One memorable quote from him was that:
"The College is like a stick of lettered rock, no matter where you bite the message is still the same!"
December 2004 proved to be just as successful. The assessor commented this time that:
"This is a school which aims to excel. The school is using continued recognition as an Investor in People as a benchmarking strategy and as a means to confirm good practice in staff development."
December 2010 and we're still going strong...
"I believe this to be a truly exceptional school."
"Her (The Head Teacher's) passion and commitment are seen as central to the success of the College, as well as to the culture of inclusion, mutual support and 'family feel' of the College."
