These include air traffic control, airport operations, engineers, maintenance providers and flight operations.

22.03.18 - Groundtel look after all aspects of grounds maintenance, they are looking to take on new members of staff to work within the existing work force. 05.03.18Apprenticeships available with The Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO). Apprenticeships available in Technical Engineering, Project Management, IT, Finance, Building Services,Security Design, Vehicle Maintenance Repair.  The minimum criteria for our apprenticeships starts from 3 GCSE’s (including English & Maths) and go up to A Level. Salaries in the first year start from £12,000 up to £22,000 for our highest apprenticeship.  It should also be noted that these salaries rise each year by approximately 10% and the end of apprenticeship salaries will range from £18,887 to £33,128 depending on the scheme and level of apprenticeship. All our schemes are listed individually on our website . If you require any additional information, please email

22.01.18Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Didcot, are holding two apprenticeship recruitment open evenings in February.  Our main recruitment is:

  •          4-year Advanced Engineering (mechanical, electrical and electronic) (minimum GCSEs)
  •          4-year Degree Apprenticeship in Digital and Technology Solutions (minimum A Levels)
