Making the Grade

'Making the Grade' are evenings run by us for parents of Year 11 GCSE students who are, with some additional support, very close to achieving the magical grade C at GCSE.

The Leaders of Maths, English, Science and French spent considerable time identifying these students, and the parents of these students were invited to one of these evenings, which ran on Thursday 8th January 2009, via post. Similar evenings ran on Tuesday 10th March 2009 for History students, and Tuesday 31st March 2009 for Graphics students.

At these evenings, we offer parents of these students the opportunity to discuss ideas in how we can best achieve grade C together.
