School Experience Visits

Each year Chalfonts arranges 'school experience' visits for people who are interested in finding out more about teaching as a profession.  There are various ways in which these visits can be accessed:

Teacher Taster Course

These 3 day courses are part of a consortium of 3 Training Schools and the LA.  They are run at 3 points in the year.  Please see our events section for dates for the next course.  Application is via the LA.

Open Schools Programme

To arrange a one day visit through the TDA Open Schools Programme, please contact the information line on 0845 600 0991.  They will then contact us to arrange a date.

One day visits

Student Associate Scheme (SAT)

The College runs programmes of 3 weeks duration for undergraduates participating in this scheme.  We work mainly with Oxford Brookes (Beatrice Davies is the contact there) but will consider other applications.

All visitors will be asked to bring proof of identificaiton including a photograph.
