12.06.17 - Year 9 students visit Buck New University

04.05.17 - James Nichols from ‘Political Education, came into school to deliver a workshop on ‘Oxbridge
Aspirations’ for some of our Year 9 students. 

02.05.17 - As part of the Pathways programme to inspire and motivate students to think about university as a post 18
option, a group of eight Year 10 students visited St Hilda’s College in Oxford to get an idea of what it is like
to be a university student for a day.

30.03.17 - Penguin Random House, a global book publishing company talked to students about the entire process of publishing. 

22.03.17 - British Airways have recruited 889 Apprentices to date and will recruit another 203 in 2017.  The 3 areas of focus are Operational, Professional Services and Customer Services.  There are some hugely exciting opportunities within this organisation and this presentation provides lots of information on what is possible and what the organisation is looking for. 14.03.17 - Students from Year 9 to 13 visit the National Apprenticeship Show in Milton Keynes.

08.03.17 - Year 9 find out about all aspects of campus life at Brunel university.

02.03.17 - Year 11 students attend council meeting at Chalfont St Peter community centre.

24.02.17 - Selected Year 10 students visit Reading university as part of a pilot scheme which started this year to give students a real taste of life as a university undergraduate.

08.02.17 - BP Petro Physicist and Subsea Engineer share their experiences with Yr12 Geography students.

02.02.17Year 10 students attend a workshop to encourage them to think about the various options available to them post GCSE.

27.01.17Mike Moran a: musician, composer and musical director visits the school to discuss his amazing career in the music industry with 6th form students.

12.10.16 - Year 11 students experienced an Employability Skills Day which included time in the main hall talking to individuals representing a variety of professions, workshops and interview sessions. Evaluation was good
