Apprenticeship Live Broadcasts
We have recently been introduced to ‘Apprenticeships Live’ which is a process by which schools in England can access the very latest apprenticeship information direct from employers and their apprentices, through a live broadcast which is 20 to 30 minutes long. The first session was delivered on Tuesday 28th November 2017.
The purpose of the sessions is to provide students with information covering the latest opportunities, skills employers are looking for, the recruitment process and how students can best prepare themselves for working life after school or college.
The sessions are really interesting and informative, and a really good way of raising awareness. We have asked lots of questions at the Live Broadcasts and it is still possible to ask more; responses will be sent back to you at a later date. The organisations we have seen so far include: BBC, Cap Gemini, Robertson Construction, Highways England and TUI. More have been recorded, including Gatwick Airport and Specsavers.
