Work Experience: Thank You to Our Community

Our  students have enjoyed a fantastic week of work experience, gaining invaluable insight into the world of work while developing new skills, confidence and aspirations for the future.

Students had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of careers across many different industries, giving them a real understanding of the workplace and helping them to explore potential future career pathways.

This incredible opportunity would not have been possible without the generosity of the many local businesses and organisations who welcomed our students into their workplaces. We are extremely grateful for the time, support and encouragement they gave throughout the week, helping to make the experience so rewarding and memorable.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our parents and carers who supported students throughout the placement process, and to Ms Vinten and the Careers Team for their hard work in organising and coordinating another highly successful work experience programme.

Work experience is a vital part of our careers education, helping students to build confidence, develop employability skills and make informed decisions about their futures. We are incredibly proud of how our students represented both themselves and The Chalfonts Community College throughout the week.
