Welcome to The Chalfonts Community College Parent & Teacher Association

The Chalfonts Community College has an active parent-teacher association known as the CCC PTA which raises funds to provide additional facilities and equipment for the students beyond those which can be funded by the college. We work closely with the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure our efforts support the school’s fund-raising priorities and enhance the experience of every student.

On joining CCC, parents and guardians automatically become members of the PTA and there are many different ways in which to get involved. You can support us simply by buying a school lottery ticket — or by getting involved behind the scenes. With over 1,000 families in our school community, even offering an hour or two across the school year makes a real difference.

The CCC PTA are currently working towards funding an all-weather canopy with outdoor seating where the children can eat, study and socialise, protected from the sun and rain, and the refurbishment of the school bathrooms. Previous fundraising from social events, refreshment stalls and the sale of second-hand uniforms has helped provide blinds for the main school hall and new classroom flooring.

As a volunteer-run charity, the CCC PTA is reliant on the help of parents and the wider community. You can help as much or as little as you can offer! We have a fantastic team spirit, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of something that directly benefits your child’s school experience – we’d love to have you on board.

If you have an hour to spare, you can help in many other different ways:

Help run the bar or serve refreshments at a school event.
Source raffle prizes and help with packaging raffle hampers.
Be part of a dedicated event team (e.g. Christmas wreath-making) or help organise one-off events such as webinars or expert speaker sessions.
Attend CCC PTA meetings (once a term, 60 minutes) to hear updates and help plan future events.
