Year 11 Leavers’ Celebrations
A Day to Remember!
There was a real buzz in the air this morning as our Year 11 students returned to The Chalfonts Community College for their long-awaited Leavers’ Assembly — a chance to celebrate their journey, reflect on their achievements, and share some final memories together.
Wearing their personalised shirts — many of which were beautifully decorated with appliqué, sewn-on bows, feathers, and creative graphics — students gathered for what proved to be an emotional and joyful morning. ✍️👕
Inside the hall, the excitement was palpable as Mr Howard, joined by the leadership team and Year 11 tutors, revealed a series of heartfelt surprises, including photo and video montages capturing the students’ time at Chalfonts. There were smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears as everyone looked back on the memories that have defined their school experience.
The celebration ended with the much-loved shirt signing tradition, as friends and teachers added personal messages and signatures — turning every shirt into a one-of-a-kind keepsake, filled with words of encouragement, appreciation, and friendship. 💖
The event was a true testament to the strong bonds within our school community and the remarkable spirit of the Class of 2025.
