  • Letter from the Principal - 7th September 2020

    Published 07/09/20

    Dear Parent/Carer,

I write to inform you that a student in Year 11 has tested positive for COVID-19.  Following the advice given to us by Public Health England, as a precautionary measure, we have been instructed to send Year 11 home. Further details will be sent to parents of these students.

Year 11 were kept within their own year group bubble at all times, and this action does not affect any other year group.  All other years will continue in school as normal and continue with the revised school day and timetable.

As a school, we have ensured that all other year groups have remained separate at all times and stayed within their curriculum areas.

I appreciate that this may cause concern, but we have followed the guidance and advice given to us so that the rest of the school can carry on as normal.
